Julie Matsuda

Project Coordinator

As of September 2014, Julie is the Qualcomm Institute Calit2 UCSD project coordinator to NSF-IGERT TEECH Program, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), and Sonic Arts. Prior to working at Qualcomm Institute, Julie was the fund manager at the Center for Magnetic Recording Research from 2013 through 2014, where she was in charge of administering government and gift funds for the department. Additionally, she managed projects and events such as the Non-Volatile Memory Workshop, Shannon Memorial Workshop, and the CMRR Research Reviews. Julie was also a student event assistant at the Qualcomm Institute from 2009 through 2013. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science and also minored in Music Performance at the University of California, San Diego. Her favorite place in the world is Vienna, Austria.
